RAKU Field Trip with Lincoln Square Pottery, May 12th
Here is another chance to join Lincoln Square Pottery Studio for a Raku Field Trip where you’ll have some great fun with smoke, fire, and ceramics.
Head out to Rolling Meadows on Saturday May 12, where we’ll meet a fearless raku master, Carl. Meet at Carl’s at 12pm, or if you are in need of transportation, contact Meg Biddle at meg@comeplaywithclay.com in advance to meet at the studio at 11 am.
We hope the weather will be nice enough to bbq, so you might want to bring along some nosh in addition to your pieces. -
Alterpolitan - An Indoor Sculpture Garden
Do you Dream of being inside a human sized terrarium? Should that Terrarium be filled with the finest sculpture Chicago has to offer? Then dream accomplished. The Chicago Loop Alliance, Noisivelvet and Art Advisory Ltd have created a massive indoor sculpture garden at 77 S. Dearborn for your enjoyment. The space will be completely transformed with wall to wall living greenery. The garden will be open between May 3rd and may 26th. On May 3rd we will be hosting a reception complete with complimentary beverages and a chance to meet the great artists we have teamed up with. Looking forward to seeing you there!
